Erasmus Student Network Serbia and Trawerk, a regional startup dedicated to providing more affordable and quality accommodation for students and digital nomads, signed a cooperation agreement today.

 

Belgrade and Novi Sad are becoming more and more attractive destinations for foreign students, but also digital nomads who are looking for work, relatively cheap life and new experiences. However, finding adequate accommodation remains one of the main problems.

 

Certain obstacles when finding apartments can certainly not be tied only to Serbia, but students meet them in the region, but also in Europe. It is for these reasons that Ivan, who is employed in the Office for Student Affairs at the University of Osijek and who himself has twice been on an Erasmus+ exchange for employees in Slovakia and Portugal, realized that exchange students have trouble finding accommodation. He decided to help them and connected students with acquaintances to rent them their properties. After 4 years, Trawerk was born - the first regional platform for renting apartments that is oriented towards young people and students.

 

One of the most common problems faced by domestic and foreign students living in Serbia is that apartments advertised on the Internet, and the things that go with them, are often not adequately presented and can be misleading, while there are often hidden costs. Such  situation is now being avoided by having all the apartments independently evaluated by our volunteers, who are also students. In this way, a quality offer of accommodation is provided in accordance with the needs of students.

 

The advantage of renting apartments in this way is even 50% lower commission that has been paid to rental agencies so far and was mainly at the expense of the one who rents the apartment, while it is now at the expense of the landlord. On the other hand, landlords now have the opportunity to advertise for free, enter the international market and access quality tenants who pay in advance. Also, there is no need to show the apartment because everything takes place online, which will save time and money.

 

We are currently working intensively on increasing the offer of apartments, so we expect that by the beginning of the next academic year it will be enough to meet the needs of everyone who decides to find their new home in this way.

 

 

 

 

Erazmus studentska mreža Srbije i Trawerk, regionalni startup posvećen pronalaženju pristupačnijeg i kvalitetnijeg smeštaja za studente i digitalne nomade, potpisali su danas sporazum o saradnji.

 

Beograd i Novi Sad iz godine u godinu postaju sve atraktivnija destinacija za strane studente, ali i digitalne nomade koji su u potrazi za poslom, relativno jeftinim životom i novim iskustvima. Međutim, pronalaženje adekvatnog smeštaja ostaje jedan od glavnih problema.

 

Različite prepreke prilikom pronalaženja stanova svakako ne možemo vezati samo za Srbiju, već se studenti sa njima susreću i u regionu, ali i u Evropi. Upravo je iz tih razloga Ivan, koji je zaposlen u Kancelariji za studentska pitanja na Univerzitetu u Osijeku i koji je i sam bio dva puta na Erazmus Plus razmeni za zaposlene u Slovačkoj i Portugalu, nakon što je uvideo da studenti na razmeni imaju problem u pronalaženju smeštaja, odlučio da pomogne i poveže studente sa poznanicima kako bi im iznajmili svoje nekretnine. Nakon 4 godine nastao je Trawerk - prva regionalna platforma za pronalaženje stanova koja je orientisana ka mladima i studentima.

 

Jedan od najčešćih problema sa kojim se susreću domaći, ali i strani studenti koji borave u Srbiji, jeste da stanovi oglašeni na internetu i stvari koje idu uz njih često nisu adekvatno predstavljeni i mogu biti obmanjujući, dok često postoje i skriveni troškovi. Takva situacija se sada izbegava tako što će svi stanovi koji se nađu u ponudi biti nezavisno ocenjeni od strane naših volontera koji su takođe studenti. Na ovaj način se obezbeđuje kvalitetna ponuda smeštaja usklađena sa potrebama studenata.

 

Prednost iznajmljivanja stanova na ovakav način je i čak 50% manja provizija koja se do sada plaćala agencijama za iznajmljivanje stanova i uglavnom je išla na teret onoga ko stan uzme u najam, dok ona ide sada na teret onoga ko stan iznajmljuje. Sa druge strane, stanodavci sada imaju mogućnost besplatnog oglašavanja, izlaska na međunarodno tržište i pristup kvalitetnim stanarima koji plaćaju unapred. Takođe, nema potrebe za pokazivanjem stana jer se sve odvija onlajn, pa će tako stanodavci uštedeti vreme i novac.

 

Trenutno intezivno radimo na povećanju ponude stanova, pa očekujemo da do početka sledeće akademske godine ona bude dovoljna da zadovolji potrebe svih koji se odluče da svoj novi dom pronađu na ovaj način.
